Cks1 (Cdc kinase subunit 1)

May be stored at 4 °C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, add sterile 40-50% glycerol, aliquot and store at -20 °C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20 °C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.

Recognizes the 11kD human Cks1 protein. No reactivity was observed with a Cks2 recombinant protein. Cross reactivity with an unknown protein at ~35kD has been observed in Western blots of HeLa cell lysates. Reactivity has been confirmed with a Cks1 recombinant protein as well as HeLa cell lysates. IHC reactivity was confirmed with formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) human tonsil sections.
