Fatty Acid Binding Protein, Liver (FABP) (Biotin)
Product Specifications
NCBI Gene ID
2168
Reactivity
Human, Rat
Storage Conditions
May be stored at 4 °C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot and add glycerol (40-50%). Store at -20 °C or colder. Aliquots are stable for at least 6 months at -20 °C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
Specificity
Binds to human liver FABP of both natural and recombinant origin. It shows crossreactivity with rat L-FABP and no binding to human intestinal or heart FABP.
Other Gene Names
