Hamartin (TSC1, Tuberous Sclerosis 1)

May be stored at 4 °C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 °C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.

Recognizes the ~130-150kD human hamartin protein. No reactivity with the related Tuberin protein. This speci city was con rmed with Western Blot on both Hamartin- and Tuberin-transfected cell lysates. Reactivity was con rmed with a Hamartin-transfected 293 cell line.
