CA50, Cancer Antigen (Colorectal Carcinoma Cell Line, COLO-205)

May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage, store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.

Detects the presence of CA50, Cancer Antigen in serum of patients with colorectal carcinoma. Demonstrates crossreactivity with mucin-like oncofetal pancarcinoma antigen, glycoprotein TAG-72 (MW 220-400kD).
