OX2R-IN-1 is a blood-brain barrier permeable OX2 receptor antagonist with low cytotoxicity (IC50: 484 μM) and a short half-life. It is a useful research tool for investigating orexin receptor signaling in sleep/wake regulation and related neurological disorders in both in vitro and in vivo models.
