NBTIs-IN-5 (Compound 5r) is a novel bacterial topoisomerase inhibitor targeting Mycobacterium abscessus DNA gyrase with an IC50 of 1.5 μM. It demonstrates potent antibacterial activity with a MIC90 of 0.4 μM, making it a valuable tool for in vitro studies of nontuberculous mycobacterial infections and novel antibiotic mechanisms.
