MtTMPK-IN-3 is a potent and selective inhibitor of Mycobacterium tuberculosis thymidylate kinase (IC50 = 0.12 μM), exhibiting antitubercular activity against Mtb H37Rv (MIC = 12.5 μM) . This small molecule is a valuable chemical tool for in vitro studies in tuberculosis drug discovery research, despite showing cytotoxicity in MRC-5 cells at 12.5 μM.
