COX-2/sEH-IN-1 is an orally bioavailable small molecule that dually inhibits cyclooxygenase-2 (IC50=1.24 μM) and soluble epoxide hydrolase (IC50=0.40 μM) . This dual pharmacological action is investigated in research models for its potential to modulate inflammation and provide cardiovascular protection, as suggested by in vitro and preclinical in vivo studies.
