This small molecule α5β1 integrin agonist selectively targets and delivers the chemotherapeutic agent 5-Fluorouracil (5-FU) to tumor cells, inducing cell death. It is a research tool for studying targeted drug delivery and integrin-mediated cytotoxicity in both in vitro and in vivo cancer models.
