Amorolfine HCL

Amorolfine HCl is a morpholine-derived antifungal agent that selectively inhibits both Δ14-reductase and Δ7-Δ8 isomerase, key enzymes in ergosterol biosynthesis. This dual action depletes ergosterol and leads to ignosterol accumulation, disrupting fungal membrane integrity. It is widely used in research for studying antifungal mechanisms and efficacy in both in vitro and ex vivo models of dermatophyte and yeast infections.
