Nikkomycin Z
Nikkomycin Z, isolated from Streptomyces tendae, is a competitive chitin synthase inhibitor. It is widely used in antifungal research to study chitin biosynthesis inhibition in vitro and has shown efficacy in insecticidal and acaricidal studies in vivo.
