FiVe1
FiVe1 is a small molecule vimentin binder that induces vimentin disintegration and phosphorylation during metaphase, causing mitotic catastrophe and loss of stemness in cancer cells. It selectively and irreversibly inhibits mesenchymal-type breast cancer cells and various soft tissue sarcomas in vitro, demonstrating potential for research in cancer biology and metastasis.
