Saikogenin D
Saikogenin D is a research compound with dual anti-inflammatory mechanisms: it inhibits PGE2 production without directly suppressing COX and stimulates intracellular calcium release. It also exhibits immunomodulatory properties by differentially attenuating IL-6 production in LPS-stimulated macrophages from different mouse strains, useful for studying calcium signaling and inflammatory pathways in vitro.
