1-Decarboxy-3-oxo-ceanothic acid
This compound exhibits in vitro cytotoxicity against human ovarian adenocarcinoma OVCAR-3 and HeLa cell lines with IC50 values of 2.8 and 6.6 μg/mL, respectively, partly through apoptosis induction. It shows selectivity with a higher IC50 (11.3 μg/mL) against normal FS-5 cells, supporting its research use in oncology and apoptosis studies.
