Cleomiscosin C is a bioactive small molecule with potent antioxidant activity, protecting against Cu2+ and HOCl-induced LDL oxidation (IC50 23.6 and 3.9 μM) . This compound and its analogs, Cleomiscosins A and B, also demonstrate hepatoprotective properties, making them relevant for cardiovascular and liver disease research in vitro.
