Isofuranodiene is a bioactive small molecule with demonstrated hepatoprotective effects in a GalN/LPS-induced liver injury model in rats. Its research applications extend to oncology, where it inhibits proliferation and induces apoptosis in colon cancer cells, and to neuroscience, where it exhibits neuritogenic activity in combination with nerve growth factor.
