Isotaxiresinol
Isotaxiresinol is a bioactive small molecule that protects against d-GalN/LPS-induced liver injury by suppressing macrophage-derived TNF-alpha and IFN-gamma and directly inhibiting TNF-alpha-mediated hepatocyte apoptosis. Research also indicates its potential application in studying estrogen deficiency-induced bone loss, as it may help prevent osteoporosis-related bone fractures.
