Masticadienolic acid
Masticadienolic acid is a specific competitive inhibitor of secreted phospholipase A2 (sPLA2), protecting its active site and blocking enzyme activity from pancreatic, synovial, and venom sources. It exhibits anti-inflammatory effects in vivo, demonstrated in models of TPA-induced ear edema and sPLA2-induced paw edema in mice.
