Myrianthic acid exhibits anticancer properties and inhibits acetylated LDL-induced foam cell formation in human monocyte-derived macrophages at 50 μM. It also suppresses epinephrine-induced platelet aggregation with an IC50 of 57.0 μM, showing potency equivalent to acetylsalicylic acid. This makes it a compound of interest for cardiovascular and oncology research in vitro.
