BAY-6672 is a potent, selective, and orally available antagonist of the human prostaglandin F (FP) receptor (IC50=11 nM) . It blocks PGF2α signaling to exert antifibrotic effects, demonstrating efficacy in preclinical in vivo models of idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF) and supporting its use in fibrotic disease research.
