NITD-916

NITD-916 is a potent, orally bioavailable 4-hydroxy-2-pyridone inhibitor targeting the Mycobacterium tuberculosis enoyl reductase InhA (IC50 = 570 nM) . It acts by forming a stable ternary complex with InhA and NADH, blocking substrate access and demonstrating antitubercular activity in both biochemical and whole-cell assays.
