Chamaejasmine
Chamaejasmine is a potential chemopreventive agent for osteosarcoma and breast cancer. It induces apoptosis in MG63 and HEP-2 cells by inactivating Akt, dephosphorylating BAD, and modulating Bcl-2 family proteins to trigger mitochondrial membrane permeabilization and cytochrome c release. Its activity has been demonstrated in vitro, supporting its investigation in oncology research.
