Firategrast
Firategrast (SB 683699) is an orally bioavailable, selective antagonist of α4β1/α4β7 integrins. It is used in research on relapsing-remitting multiple sclerosis (MS) to investigate mechanisms of lymphocyte migration into the CNS, supported by in vivo studies showing reduced CNS infiltration and modest decreases in lymphocyte subsets.
