Purmorphamine is a potent Smoothened (Smo) agonist that competitively inhibits BODIPY-cyclopamine binding. It is widely used in Hedgehog pathway research to induce osteogenic differentiation in stem cells, applicable in both in vitro and in vivo bone biology studies.
