AT56 is a selective inhibitor of prostaglandin D2 synthase (PTGDS) . It has been shown to attenuate the adipogenic effects of aldosterone in research settings. This small molecule is a useful tool for studying lipid metabolism, adipogenesis, and mineralocorticoid-related pathways in both cellular and animal models.
