Bisindolylmaleimide X hydrochloride is a potent, selective inhibitor of protein kinase C (PKC) and also antagonizes CDK2 with an IC50 of 200 nM. This cell-permeable compound is widely used in biochemical and cellular research to investigate PKC and CDK2 signaling pathways in vitro.
