Ketoprofen
Ketoprofen is a propionic acid-derived NSAID that exerts anti-inflammatory, analgesic, and antipyretic effects by inhibiting cyclooxygenase (COX) I and II enzymes, thereby reducing prostaglandin and thromboxane synthesis. It is widely used in research models of inflammation and pain, both in vitro and in vivo, to study COX pathway inhibition and platelet aggregation.
