Trometamol
Tromethamine is a tris buffer and therapeutic agent used to correct systemic acidosis. It also acts as a non-selective cyclooxygenase (COX) inhibitor, preventing the synthesis of prostaglandins from arachidonic acid. This dual function supports its application in biochemical pH control and in vitro inflammation research.
