1-Naphthol (Furro ER) is an excited-state proton transfer (ESPT) fluorescent probe designed to monitor thermotropic microenvironmental changes within Pluronic F127 assemblies. It is used in vitro for studying micelle formation, polymer dynamics, and as a model for investigating solvation and polarity in soft materials research.
