EACC is a reversible autophagy inhibitor that blocks autophagosome-lysosome fusion by specifically inhibiting the translocation of the SNARE protein Stx17. This tool compound effectively arrests autophagic flux and is applicable for studying autophagy mechanisms in both cellular and animal models.
