FG 7142
FG 7142 is a benzodiazepine inverse agonist with high affinity for α1 subunit-containing GABAA receptors (Ki=91 nM) . It modulates GABA-induced chloride flux and has been used in research to study anxiety-related neurochemistry, including in vivo effects on cortical tyrosine hydroxylation and β-adrenoceptor upregulation in mice.
