Oxidopamine hydrochloride (6-Hydroxydopamine hydrochloride) is a selective dopaminergic neurotoxin that induces inflammation via COX-2 activation. It is extensively used to model Parkinson's disease pathology in vivo and to study neuroinflammation and neuronal death in vitro.
