Aspirin
Aspirin is an irreversible, orally active COX-1/COX-2 inhibitor (IC50 5 and 210 μg/mL, respectively) with anti-platelet, analgesic, and anti-inflammatory properties. It is widely used in research to study thrombosis, inflammation, apoptosis, and to establish in vivo gastric ulcer models.
