Etoposide (VP-16)
Etoposide (VP-16-213) is a chemotherapeutic topoisomerase II inhibitor that stabilizes the enzyme-DNA complex, blocking DNA replication (IC50=60.3 μM) . It is widely used in cancer research to study mechanisms of apoptosis and autophagy in both cellular and animal models of various malignancies.
