Prasugrel
Prasugrel (CS-747) is a thienopyridine-class antiplatelet agent used to inhibit thrombosis in acute coronary syndromes and during percutaneous coronary intervention. Its active metabolite irreversibly antagonizes the P2Y12 ADP receptor, a mechanism validated in both in vitro platelet aggregation assays and in vivo preclinical models of arterial thrombosis.
