Lansoprazole
Lansoprazole is a timoprazole-derived proton pump inhibitor used to treat gastric ulcers and Zollinger-Ellison syndrome by inhibiting H+/K+-ATPase in parietal cells. It also acts as a brain-penetrant neutral sphingomyelinase (N-SMase) inhibitor, making it a useful tool for studying exosome biology and neuroinflammation in both in vitro and in vivo research models.
