This potent and selective Sigma-1 receptor antagonist (Ki = 1.14 nM) exhibits over 1000-fold selectivity versus the Sigma-2 receptor. It also inhibits the hERG channel (IC50 = 1.54 μM) . This compound is a valuable research tool for investigating σ1R function in neuropharmacology and cellular stress models, both in vitro and in vivo.
