Serpin E1, Rat (HEK293, His)
Serpin E1 Protein, Rat (HEK293, His) is one important member of the serine proteinase inhibitor E superfamily that plays a crucial role in the fibrinolytic system. The Serpin E1 protein is a single-chain glycoprotein composed of 379 amino acids. The active site of the protein is Arg346-Met347. SERPINE1 encodes plasminogen activator inhibitor type 1 (PAI-1), which serves as the primary inhibitor of urokinase plasminogen activator (uPA) and tissue-type plasminogen activator (tPA) . The Serpin E1 protein can quickly inhibit the formation of plasmin. Serpin E1 can be transcribed through several signaling cascades, including pro-fibrogenic and pro-inflammatory pathways. Serpin E1 is a serine proteinase inhibitor, serves as an important regulator of extracellular matrix remodeling[1][2][3]. Serpin E1 Protein, Rat (HEK293, His) is the recombinant rat-derived Serpin E1 protein, expressed by HEK293 , with C-His, C-10*His labeled tag.
