Trovafloxacin mesylate
Trovafloxacin is a broad-spectrum fluoroquinolone antibiotic that inhibits DNA gyrase and topoisomerase IV. It also specifically blocks the pannexin 1 (PANX1) channel with an IC50 of 4 μM. This dual activity makes it a useful research tool for studying bacterial replication and PANX1-mediated cellular signaling in vitro.
