Torsemide
Torsemide (AC-4464) is a loop diuretic of the anilinopyridine sulfonylurea class, characterized by its extended plasma half-life, prolonged action, and high protein binding. It is widely used in research models of hypertension, heart failure, and edema to investigate renal sodium-potassium-chloride cotransporter inhibition in both in vivo and in vitro systems.
