Naftifine hydrochloride
Naftifine hydrochloride is a synthetic allylamine antifungal agent that acts by inhibiting squalene epoxidase, disrupting ergosterol biosynthesis and leading to squalene accumulation in fungal cells. It is used in research for studying antifungal mechanisms and has demonstrated efficacy in both in vitro assays and in vivo models of dermatophyte and yeast infections.
