JTV-519 is a calcium-stabilizing agent that inhibits pathological Ca2+ leakage from the sarcoplasmic reticulum by targeting ryanodine receptors. It is widely used in cardiovascular and muscular disease research, with applications in both in vitro assays and in vivo models of ischemia and heart failure.
