Roseoflavin
Roseoflavin is an antimicrobial FMN/riboflavin analog that binds FMN riboswitch aptamers, downregulating gene expression as demonstrated with an FMN riboswitch-lacZ reporter in B. subtilis. This tool compound is used in riboswitch research and antimicrobial mechanism studies, applicable in both in vitro binding assays and in vivo bacterial gene regulation experiments.
