BMS-986122 is a μ-opioid receptor positive allosteric modulator. In vitro, it potentiates endomorphin-1-stimulated β-arrestin recruitment in OPRM1-expressing cells with an EC50 of 3 μM. This compound is a research tool for studying biased signaling and allosteric modulation in opioid receptor pharmacology.
