Methyl dihydrojasmonate is a diffusive ester aroma compound with a jasmine-like scent, where racemic forms are floral-citrus and epimerized mixtures are fatty-floral, having an odor threshold near 15 ppb. It is used in olfactory research, fragrance formulation studies, and in vitro models of pheromone or flavor perception.
