Oteseconazole
Oteseconazole (VT-1161) is an orally bioavailable antifungal agent that selectively and potently inhibits Candida albicans CYP51 (Kd <39 nM) without significantly affecting the human ortholog. It is a valuable research tool for studying fungal pathogenesis and has demonstrated efficacy in both in vitro assays and in vivo models of candidiasis.
