Imrecoxib (BAP-909) is a novel, selective COX-2 inhibitor (IC50 = 18 nM) with a weaker effect on COX-1 (IC50 = 115 nM) . It exhibits anti-inflammatory properties and is used in research models to study pain, inflammation, and arthritis, both in vitro and in vivo.
