IU1-47 is a potent and selective inhibitor of the deubiquitinase USP14 (IC50 = 0.6 μM) with weaker activity against IsoT/USP5 (IC50 = 20 μM) . It promotes tau clearance in neuronal cultures and is a valuable research tool for studying proteasome function, protein aggregation, and neurodegenerative disease models in vitro.
