Vecuronium bromide (ORG NC 45) is a synthetic, non-depolarizing neuromuscular blocking agent of intermediate duration, belonging to the mono-quaternary steroid class. It is widely used in pharmacological research to induce muscle relaxation in both in vivo animal models and in vitro tissue bath experiments.
