Maxacalcitol
Maxacalcitol (22-Oxacalcitriol) is a synthetic, non-hypercalcemic vitamin D3 analog that acts as a VDR ligand. It is widely used in research to study the suppression of parathyroid hormone (PTH) gene expression, both in cell-based assays and in animal models of secondary hyperparathyroidism.
